Privacy Policy
The short version: we don't track you, we don't sell data, and there are no accounts to create.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
1. Who we are
Cosmic Scale AI ("we", "us") operates cosmicscaleai.com — a free, educational website with interactive space tools. This policy explains what little data is involved when you use the site, and how it is handled.
2. Information we do not collect
- No accounts. There is no signup, login, or user profile.
- No tracking cookies. The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
- No third-party analytics. We do not embed Google Analytics, pixels, or ad networks.
- No data selling. We never sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers — because we never collect it in the first place.
3. Information that may be involved
Newsletter form. The email form on the home page is currently a demo — submissions are not stored or sent anywhere. If real subscriptions are enabled later, this policy will be updated before that happens.
Contact form. The contact page opens your own email app with the message pre-filled. Your message travels through your email provider, not our servers.
Optional AI feature. Some tools offer an optional AI helper. If you choose to use it, the text you type is sent to our server and forwarded to an AI provider (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI) to generate a reply. Only what you type is sent — no cookies, no identifiers.
Local storage. A few tools remember small preferences on your own device (for example game progress or cached images) using your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it any time via your browser settings.
NASA data. The Birthday in Space tool requests public data from api.nasa.gov. Requests to NASA are governed by NASA's own privacy policy.
Server logs. Like most websites, the hosting server may automatically log basic technical details (IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp) for security and debugging. These logs are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives standard request information (such as your IP address) as part of serving the files.
4. Children's privacy
The site is family-friendly by design and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact page, contact us and we will delete it.
5. Your rights
Depending on your region (for example GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Since we hold virtually none, the fastest path is to email us — we will confirm and act on any genuine request.
6. Changes to this policy
If anything about data handling changes, this page will be updated with a new date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
7. Contact
